About Me

I love many different styles of music, and recognize that the best way to teach is to be open to learn! My students would become not just clients, but close friends. My musical influences range from Wes Montgomery, Jimi Hendrix, Buddy Guy, and Gary Clark Jr. to Victor Wooten, Trombone Shorty, and pretty much any folk artists.

Formal Education:

Studied at Winthrop University with L.H. Dickert. Studied at Southside High School in percussion, guitar ensemble and jazz band. Also participated in WGI organization with the formally active Carolina Force Independent Percussion Ensemble.

Private Education:

Studied with L.H. Dickert. Studied with Matt Dingledine of the Greenville Jazz Collective. Studied with freelance bassist Shaun Ritchie.

Performing Experience:

I have performance experience in an eclectic variety of genres including: symphonic band, jazz band, guitar ensemble, and marching band at Southside High School. I have also performed with the guitar ensemble at Winthrop University in Rock Hill, SC. I have professionally performed in the jazz fusion band Musaeus. I have provided accompaniment to a wealth of talent in the Upstate area.

Experience Teaching:

I have provided lessons throughout high school, and I am thrilled to teach at every opportunity granted to me. I'm very excited to be working in this field. I'm naturally gifted in motivating people, and would love for you to give me the opportunity to help you become the best musician you can be!
