Review About Me
I am a classically trained violinist and violist. I have been playing for about 20 years. I actively perform with local symphonies, have a music degree, and have been teaching music lessons for about 10 years.
Nicole M has over 10 years of music experience in the Oley area.
Nicole M is proficient in and teaches Orchestral Lessons .Formal Education:
I have a B.A. degree in Music performance and a B.S. degree in Music Education. I studied under Dr. Mary Ogletree, violin and viola at Kutztown University in Pennsylvania.
Private Education:
I studied privately with multiple teachers since the 7th grade.
Performing Experience:
I have performed in the Kutztown University Orchestra for 5 yeas during my studies there. I also performed with small ensemble groups. I have been a member of the Anthracite philaharmonic symphony based out of Pottsville, PA for the last 4 years. Part of my performance degree requirements was to perform in a solo recital, with small ensemble, and solo with piano.
Experience Teaching:
I have been teaching music lessons for about 10 years. I currently teach through the Yocum institute for arts education 2 days per week. I also teach privately out of my home.
