Review About Me
I have been studying the guitar for most of my life and began teaching when I was 16. I have been given to opportunity to learn from some of the best musicians and teachers around. I regularly give performances through the Cincinnati area, as well as in surround states. I earned a bachelors or music in Guitar performance at The College-Conservatory of Music in Cincinnati. While there I was able to meet musicians with different approaches to music and broaden my perspective on the way that I played and taught.
Kirk R has over 15 years of music experience in the Montgomery area.
Kirk R is proficient in and teaches Guitar Lessons .Formal Education:
Bachelors of Music: Guitar Performance College-Conservatory of Music
Private Education:
I have studied with many internationally acclaimed artists, including Jason Vieaux, Oscar Ghiglia, Robert Gruca, Rovshan Mamadkuliev, and Gaelle Solal.
Performing Experience:
I am a regular performer through the Cincinnati region, as well as neighboring states. I enjoy playing in a variety of settings from concert hall to social events.
Experience Teaching:
I have taught students from ages 6 to 60+ and all skill levels, and I have been able to watch my students meet goals of all sorts in lessons. One of the studios that I teach at was recognized "Best Music Instruction" by Cinci Magazine.
If you have never picked up an instrument before, I would love to introduce you to the basics of music as well as the guitar. If you have played some guitar, or another instrument, and are looking to hone your skills and maximize your potential, it would be my pleasure to help you along that track.
