I have been playing music since I was 7 years old. I can read standard music notation and TAB. I teach acoustic guitar both strumming and finger style using the classical guitar method. I also teach electric bass guitar including slap/funk technique. I teach from either method books or hand written music. I teach what the student wants to learn. Exercises, scales and popular songs are stressed.

1991 - 1994, 40 credits in applied music theory and two years of private classical guitar lessons from West Chester University School of Music, West Chester, PA. B.S. Business Studies, the Richard Stockton College of NJ, Pomona, NJ.

1988 - 1991 Private Classical Guitar Lessons, Michael Newman, Guitar Faculty, Mannes College of Music, NYC.
Performing Experience:
I started playing Alto Saxophone when I was 7 years old and played with the school band. At 12 I started playing bass and acoustic guitar. I've been performing on acoustic guitar and bass since 1991. I toured seven countries in Europe in 1991 when I was 18 years old playing electric bass for American Music Abroad playing jazz standards. I compose original finger style acoustic guitar instrumentals and perform at local venues from 1991 to Present.
Experience Teaching:
I have taught private acoustic guitar and electric bass lessons since 2000.
