About Me

Looking to learn how to play the piano? You've come to the right place! My curriculum is extensive and affordable (something that is apparently hard to find these days) P.S: If you read this and are interested, but do not live in the area, I do offer virtual lessons!

LeAndra M has over 9-15 years of music experience in the Durham area.

LeAndra M is proficient in and teaches Keyboard and Piano Lessons .



Formal Education:

I'm currently in college double majoring in Music Education and Jazz Studies. My applied piano teacher is Mr. Ed Paolantonio.

Private Education:

I have had private instruction for 2 years on basic theory, sightreading, and basic chords. Afterwards, I taught myself, researching more advanced theoretical analysis and movements in classical, jazz, and gospel genres.

Performing Experience:

I have 15 years experience in multiple venues, including church (African-American and Caucasian), broadway performances, jazz/nightclub venues, and art gallery openings.

Experience Teaching:

I have had formal experience teaching for years. I have taught students of all ages. I also have had experience tutoring and critiquing people of all ages.
