My influences range from Jimi Hendrix to Thelonious Monk and every genre in between. I'm well versed in both modern music theory and 18th-century part writing as methods of song writing.

Formal Education:
During high school I received good marks in my AP Music Theory exam. This class provided me with information on figured bass, ear-training, and part writing techniques.
Private Education:
I have learned under professional guitarists and band instructors giving me a broad viewpoint of the music world.
