Review About Me
I teach beginning to advanced bassists. My teaching has been influenced by bass teachers Ed Barker and Scott Dixon, as well as by the teachings of padagogue George Vance. In lessons there will be a major focus on finding a comfortable posture for students to play the bass in all registers, and to develop fluency with the bow and left hand.
Henry has over 5+ years of music experience in the Cleveland Hgts. area.
Henry is proficient in and teaches Orchestral Lessons .Formal Education:
Boston University Bachelor of Music (2006-2011)
Cleveland Institute of Music (2012-present)
Private Education:
studied with principal bassist of the Boston Symphony, Ed Barker.
Performing Experience:
Performed in venues such as Severance Hall, Disney Hall and Carnegie hall. Also participated in orchestras across Japan, Europe, and China.
Experience Teaching:
I have been a private bass teacher for over five years. Sectional coach and private tutor at Santa Monica High School, and Para Los Ninos Elementary.
