Alex has been teaching guitar and bass guitar and performing in resorts, restaurants and clubs in and around Northeast Florida since 1985. He is well versed in classical, jazz, rock and country music. His lessons are fun but also extremely results orientated. He shows his students not just what to practice but how to get the most out of their time by using what he calls"Timed Rehearsal Drills". Parents are encouraged to sit in on any or all lessons.
Alex Af- has over 25 years of music experience in the Green Cove Springs area.
Alex Af- is proficient in and teaches Guitar Lessons, Bass Guitar Lessons .Formal Education:
Attended Monroe Community College for one year. Retail Business Management was my major.
Private Education:
Took Private Lessons with Richard Longale in Rochester New York for about seven years. Took private lessons from Gary Starling at Jacksonville University for a year. Took private lessons from Dr. John Shafer in Jacksonville Florida for about a year.
Performing Experience:
Played "A Circuit" lounges up and down the Alantic Coast with several different "Variety Bands". Have played most recently Just about every major club in and around Jacksonville Florida. Have done the "Solo Acoustic Guitar Act" at the following locations.

Alex has been a great instructor!
My daughter has had a great experience with Alex learnign the bass guitar! His lessons are great, tailored to her, great exercises that she can do at home as well.
