About Me

Alejandro is a diverse guitarist that has been teaching throughout for over 13 years. He has studied classical guitar performance, music education, and music theory at the Aaron Copland School of Music and at Nassau Community College. Alejandro’s studies have also included Jazz, Flamenco, and Arabic music, studying under some of the world’s greatest educators and performers. He is a member of the prestigious New York Arabic Orchestra and leads and composes for the band Indra, a progressive grunge rock band. Alejandro has performed in Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, Merkin Concert Hall, and other venues throughout the US. He is well known as an educator and has written extensively on the subject of guitar technique development.

Performing Experience:

Alejandro has been performing since the age of 13. He has performed in rock groups, Jazz groups, classical orchestras, choirs, and Middle Eastern ensembles. Venues have been as diverse as the music. From Punk rock clubs in NY to Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center.

Experience Teaching:

Alejandro has been teaching for over 13 years. His students range from 3 to over 60. He has taught students of all levels and styles.
