I feel that I am patient with my students, and teach them to set goals with the music that they are learning. By creating goals one can accomplish many things and accomplish milestones.
Monika M.- has over 15 years of music experience in the Lynnwood area.

I graduated from Central Washington University with a Bachelors in Music Education Degree.
Private Education:
I have studied piano with Lilian Szlaga for eight years. I then moved to Ellensburg, WA where I studied for four more years with Barbra Pickett. I studied voice for two years with private teachers and have a vocal education degree from Central Washington University.
Performing Experience:
I have performed at Benaroya hall for many years which includes being part of the Handel's Messaiah, as well as other works with their orchestra and conductors. I also performed piano recitals and adjudications for many years in both voice and piano.
Experience Teaching:
I have taught piano lessons for three years prior to studying at Central Washington University. I also taught some piano lessons while going to school. I also taught voice and studied pedagogical techniques in both voice and piano. I taught in an elementary school for three months, as well as a middle school for two.
