About Me

Hello! My name is Tyler. I'm a musician based in Clarksville, TN. I have been playing guitar for 15 years and have played and performed all styles of music. I received my bachelor's degree from the University of Akron in Guitar Performance. I am currently on course to receive my master's degree in Music Education from Austin Peay State University. I also have 10 years of experience with singing as well as piano playing. Music theory lessons are also available.

Tyler S has over 4 years of music experience in the Clarksville area.

Tyler S is proficient in and teaches Guitar Lessons, Bass Guitar Lessons, Keyboard and Piano Lessons, Vocal Lessons, Song Writing Lessons .



Formal Education:

Bachelor's Degree in Guitar Performance from the University of Akron. Currently pursuing a Master's Degree in Music Education at Austin Peay State University.

Performing Experience:

I played guitar and sang songs for my school's talent shows when growing up. I played the North Royalton Home Days in 2006. I have been apart of a Guitar Ensemble concert 3 out of my 4 semesters at Akron, as well as a 20 minute jury in front of the guitar faculty each semester. I also performed at the University of Akron School of Music Career Day.

Experience Teaching:

3 years as a private guitar instructor at Western Reserve Music in Hudson, Ohio.
