Kenny G has over 20 years of music experience in the Richmond area.

Performing Experience:
Several years in funk and jazz bands in Boston. Spent the mid 90s writing acoustic music for plays in NYC and recording the incidental music for them. In the last few years, gigged in NYC as a blues/bluegrass solo act. Currently, a country/blues/slide singer songwriter just relocated to Richmond, VA.
Experience Teaching:
Had pockets of students in home teaching over the last few years. From high school through just after college, had a steady income of teaching gigs. Most important is giving beginner students the motor skills and confidence necessary to get through the early stages of learning an instrument.
