About Me

For the last 17 years I have been Commercial realtor by day and part time musician by night. In 2008, I was partially disabled in an auto accident. Since then I have been involved in music fulltime. I have teaching group lessons in an Palm Beach county after school program for the last year as well as teaching individual's at their homes. For the last six years I have been playing John Lennon in South Florida's number one Beatles Tribute "Anthology". I am Married with two girls in college and have lived in Wellington for the last 21 years.

Formal Education:

I have a Bachelors in Psychology and English from Mercer University in Macon Ga.

Private Education:

I have no degree in music yet. It is something I am working on currently. I have had private lessons from a degreed teacher in west palm beach but that is as formal as it gets. My teacher taught not only theory but how to perform and even helped me with voice.

Performing Experience:

I have performed more than 100 shows in south Florida. I have played in Country bands that played Sunfest and other South Florida shows as well as Blues and Rock Bands that played every local club and fair around. Lastly, The Beatles tribute has played such venues as Sunfest and the Jackie Gleason Theatre, in Miami, where we played with the Beach Boys, the Osmond Brothers, Gloria Gaynor and Lou Gramm From Foreigner. We actually played as the backing band for Lou Gramm and I was lucky enough to sing next to him on stage.

Experience Teaching:

I have been teaching Guitar for about six years, since my accident. I have a variety of ages I teach and I make all my own teaching plans to fit each individual and their likes and dislikes of music. I constantly strive to improve my teaching skills by reading and searching online, But like every good Guitarist, I Steal Licks and teaching skills from other teachers. In my mind you are always learning as well as teaching..
