Hi! My name is Trudy and I'm a vocal coach based in Brooklyn, New York. I love teaching youth and adults, focusing on vocal technique and the contemporary styles of music that each student most enjoys singing/writing. A common thread in my singing, teaching, and work as a life coach and restorative practices facilitator is that I am passionate about helping people discover and develop their unique talents and the confidence to share their gifts in the world. I am flexible in my approach so that I serve the needs of every student, supporting them toward their goals.

Beginner - Intermediate
Flexible format. I like to find out what the student's goals are for singing, writing, and/or performing so that we can best use our time together to work toward these goals. Instruction in vocal technique, tone, and expression will be part of the lessons. Students are welcome to utilize background instrumental tracks during lessons, accompany themselves on an instrument, or sing acapella!

Studied Music Education/Voice at University of Central Florida, Studied Education/Wellness at University of South Florida, Graduate Studies at University of Otago in New Zealand, Florida Gulf Coast University, and the International Institute for Restorative Practices.
