I gained my Bachelor's degree in Music from the prestigious Conservatory of Music of Puerto Rico, which was founded by world renowned legendary cellist Pablo Casals. During my studies I had the privilege to study under Marco Pignataro (current Berklee Global Jazz Institute Managing Director), legendary Jazz Bassist Eddie Gomez, Grammy- Award winning tenor saxophonist David Sanchez, among others. Master classes with legendary saxophonist Branford Marsalis, trumpeter John Faddis, pianist Kenny Werner, saxophonist Jerry Bergonzi, among others. Aside from performing, I deeply enjoy teaching and have done so for more than 5 years. My experiences as a teacher include more than 4 years providing Music Theory courses and saxophone lessons at the Luis A. Ferre Fine Arts School in Guaynabo, Puerto Rico.
