Hi! I'm Tyler and I'm a professional drummer/teacher. I began taking private drum lessons from Ron Negro (NYC area session drummer/Rock of Ages on broadway/teacher) in High school and continued through college. Immediately after high school graduation, I began taking on private drum students. As I gained more experience and honed my teaching style, I accumulated many more students all over the Hudson Valley. My band was, at the time, gaining increased popularity with cross country tours and a sizeable local following, which helped me to gain a fuller grasp on the instrument. Through all the shows and many students I was teaching, I received an endorsement from the Precision Drum Company.

Through all of this, I’ve remained focused on my goal for the past 15 years: to play and to teach. That’s all. At this point, I’ve been teaching privately for about 12 years. My curriculum focuses on all styles/genres, playing musically, reading music, ear development and music history as well. I am very passionate about my craft and hope to ignite a similar love for music and drumming in my students.
