About Me

I am a 25 year old vocalist who received her major in voical performance from Virginia Commonwealth University. I have performed in 4 operas and 1 operetta thus far. My most recent performance was as the Grisette Jou-jou in VCU Opera's production of Lehar's The Merry Widow. My opera performances have been in: Mozart's Don Giovanni (Chorus Member, Operafestival di Roma) and The Magic Flute (Papagena Cover, VCU Opera), Puccini's Suor Angelica (Chorus Member, Operafestival di Roma), and Menotti's Amelia Goes to the Ball (Chorus Member, VCU Opera). I also have performed partial roles such as Susanna in Mozart's The Marriage of Figaro (Letter Duet and Sextet, Operafest and VCU Opera) and the Female Chorus in Britten's The Rape of Lucretia (quartet, VCU Opera). Currently I am preparing the partial role of Zerlina in an aria and sextet from Mozart's Don Giovanni (VCU Opera). I also am a 1st soprano and soloist in VCU's premier choir, The Commonwealth Singers, and a soprano 2 and soloist in VCU's Women's Choir. Aside from that, I'm searching for a job in a church choir as a soprano section leader. I aspire to be an opera singer and choir singer/soloist full time.

I've taken voice lessons since the age of 12 privately until college when I started taking them academically for my major. I studied with Michelle Gulick at VCU.

Experience Teaching:

I've taught music at a summer camp in 2012. Since then I've been teaching voice and piano lessons to private students.
