About Me

Whats up! My name is Wes, I'm 17, and I've been playing the drums since I was 5. I've had many teachers, and have a lot of experience ready to be shared. I enjoy playing metal genres, and also have experience playing rock, a little bit of jazz experience, and even some funk. I also have some teaching experience with my 8 year old cousin who after a couple of lessons learned simple songs to accompany a guitar. I feel like I could make learning drums a fun experience for anybody and hopefully help people become good drummers :).

Formal Education:

I've participated in percussion classes for 3 years at schools so I have an understanding of all rudiments, sticking, and drum terms.

Private Education:

I've had 4 different teachers, (6 if you include percussion teachers), and have been taking lessons since I was 5-12.

Performing Experience:

I performed at school a few times, and when I was younger I went to a camp where we learned songs and had a small performance.

Experience Teaching:

I've taught one person so far and what I can tell from that one person is that I can be a pretty productive teacher.
