Gilberto is a guitarist, composer, arranger, educator, and typesetter based out of the Dallas- Fort Worth area. As a guitarist, he believes that one must have a well rounded understanding of the instrument, and this is why he plays both Jazz and classical guitar, as well as, being proficient in rock, Hispanic music, and pop styles.
Gilberto D has over 15 years of music experience in the Denton area.
Gilberto D is proficient in and teaches Guitar Lessons, Song Writing Lessons .Formal Education:
Masters degree from the University of North Texas in Jazz Studies.
Performing Experience:
Gilberto has played in a wide variety of musical groups ranging from: conjuntos, jazz trios, pop variety bands, jam bands, duets, and as a solo guitarist.
Experience Teaching:
Experience teaching grade school children and adults classical and electric guitar, as well as music theory.
