My name is Taneisha and I am currently completing my last year of college at Georgia State University, where I am getting my Bachelors in Fine Arts with a concentration in Musical Theater and Music Performance. I started playing the flute 10 years ago and I am still going strong. I have been apart of multiple honors including playing for the All state band and orchestra in Maryland and playing side by side with the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra. I graduated from The Baltimore School for the Arts, a performance arts school in Baltimore, MD, with a 4 year scholarship to continue my music education. I have been teaching music theory and giving private flute lessons for 3 years. I have experience working with all age children as well as young adults and adults. I'm looking forward to sharing my knowledge and I can't wait to meet any prospective students of mine.
