About Me
I am a singer/songwriter and acoustic guitarist with over 30 years of guitar instruction experience. I am passionate about teaching guitar and songwriting. My specialties include folk, country, bluegrass and other acoustic guitar playing styles.
Dennis Whi. has over 30 years of music experience in the Millstone area.
Dennis Whi. is proficient in and teaches Guitar Lessons, Song Writing Lessons .Formal Education:
I graduated from Westerville High School in June of 1969.
Private Education:
Though I am self taught, I am able to read music and guitar tab, compose and arrange music, make backing tracks and custom midi files. I can also make custom videos to supplement guitar and songwriting lessons
Performing Experience:
As a performing musician, I’ve played hundreds of shows in nightclubs and restaurants, hotels and motels, class reunions, music festivals and more. I am comfortable singing lead or backup and have a gift for being able to hear and sing harmony.
Experience Teaching:
I got my first teaching job as a guitar instructor for The String Shoppe Columbus Ohio where I carried as many as 40 students per week. Since then I have continued to teach privately, in schools and online via Skype.
