Review About Me
My name is Jacob, I've been jamming guitar and bass for 5 years. Piano for 2. I know I have what it takes to teach little dudes and grown men how to jam on guitar, or bass. I've taught over 45 people across the RDU area. Plus some out of state. I teach metal, rock, blues, acoustic finger picking and Indian raga music. But overall I'm a blues man. And I love metal.

I was first taught a scale and practiced untill my finger bones ached, then I expanded to every position, I moved up from there learning more about modes, and transitions in music. As well as dissonance in progression. I've been jamming ever since with all sorts of musicians even black market special
Performing Experience:
I've played 5 bars when I was younger with my dad being there of course. I played farmjam 3 years running. I play every now and then with some dudes down my street but I'm better than them except the drummer, I'm no drummer. But my bro is and we Jam often. Tool, hendrix, mostly that. But I could learn anything.
Experience Teaching:
I've taught over 45 people over the RDU area over the last 2 years, most have been satisfied. I think only 4 people said that I was too hard on them and there fingers were hurting after the first day. But all others including my friends down the street were satisfied. I mostly taught blues and fingerpicking. Some metal but not a bucket full. I teach children very well, I love children. I've taught kids as young as 5 to play piano pretty well. But I can teach anyone for I have a very likable personality, and I am a very straight up, old fashioned, professional type of man.
