What to expect in my Song Writing Lessons
Beginner - Intermediate
We will begin lessons with talking about what you are wanting to get song writing lessons for. From there we will talk about song topics, chord progressions, and how to get the most out of the music you are making.
What to expect in my Keyboard and Piano Lessons
Beginner - Intermediate - Advanced
For the first lessons, I try to access where the student is and take it from that level. I believe I have the ability to meet all my students where they are. Although my availability seems limited please inquiry within, because I do have evening availability that is not listed. Thank you!
Formal Education:
I have been studying piano for seventeen years and I have 5 years of professional training.
Private Education:
I have studied at a private music conservatory in Chicago and through private lessons at Xavier University of Louisiana.
Performing Experience:
I have performed for many different venues for as long as I have been playing. I played a piano solo at my undergraduate graduation as well as was runner up for the HBCU Piano Competition 2017.
Experience Teaching:
I have five years experience teaching through the university, three years teaching at a after school program, and fifteen years teaching privately.
