About Me

Originally born and raised in Bakersfield, California, Ryan picked up the guitar at the age of 14 and has since developed an undeniable passion for music.

Ryan started out teaching himself and developing his natural talent to play by ear. As Ryan's interest increased he learned the basics by watching YouTube videos. Eventually he began taking private lessons with an instructor who graduated from Hollywood's Musician's Institute. By the end of his high school years, Ryan was giving lessons to fellow students.

After high school, Ryan decided to pursue a musical career in Los Angeles. On October 1, 2012, he began studying at the Los Angeles College of Music (LACM) where he has learned to become much more versatile in other genres such as jazz, funk, R&B, and fusion.

Through LACM, Ryan has had the pleasure of working with some of the best musicians in the industry such as Jody Fisher, Tony Inzalaco, Bill Fowler, Art Renshaw, and many more. LACM is also where he met his fellow bandmates for the metal band The World Over which is currently his main project.

Ryan graduated LACM in March 2014 and continues to work with The World Over and on other projects to pursue his musical passion.

Ryan K has over 8 years of music experience in the Torrence area.
