About Me

I am a veteran of over thirty years of performance and teaching and I hold degrees from the University of North Texas in Music Composition & Theory with a Piano Concentration (as well as studying privately with Lyle Mays and Lee Tomboulian) and a Masters in History and Art History from the University of Texas at Arlington. In addition to my piano teaching schedule I am active in the performance sector and can be heard playing with a variety of ensembles throughout the D/FW Metroplex as well as solo piano for weddings and private events.

I follow another of my great passions as well by teaching History and the Humanities at North Central Texas College.

I also play in a church orchestra that is comprised of some of the best players in Denton and even though this is an all volunteer ensemble, I count it as one of my greatest blessings since it allows me to serve my Saviour Jesus Christ and proclaim His message of grace and salvation. If this sounds odd or in contrast to what a musician thinks and believes in this day and age I would be happy to sit down and talk with you about Him, and what He has done, and is doing in my life.

Have performed with a variety of ensembles (from duos to chamber symphonies) as well as performed with jazz artist Zachary Breaux, Motown group Martha and the Vandals, Camp & Company, and Donald Byrd. Currently performing with a nimber of groups in the D/FW area.
