About Me

I live in Lexington, KY. I enjoy teaching students of all ages. Guitar is a hard instrument to pick up and learn, but with a little help and personal drive I can get you playing any song you'd like!

Eric G. has over 11 years of music experience in the Lexington area.

Formal Education:

Learned how to read music by playing the piano and trumpet most of my life. Picked up the guitar at the age of 13 and haven't set it down since.

Private Education:

I had private lessons myself for my first 6 months playing guitar, and have played just about every day since.

Performing Experience:

I've been in a couple rock bands in my first few years of playing guitar. I have years of vocal experience too and can teach how to combine singing and playing guitar. I now record my own music and covers and perform where asked.

Experience Teaching:

I've taught trumpet to students in the past. I've also taught quite a few beginners how to play guitar throughout my decade of experience, but am now wishing to teach more frequently.
