I first picked up a guitar 9 years ago in 7th grade and have since focused all of my education and efforts toward music. I received a formal education in music from Mt. San Jacinto College while simultaneously teaching, touring and performing locally.
Chris L has over 10 years of music experience in the Temecula area.
Chris L is proficient in and teaches Guitar Lessons, Bass Guitar Lessons, Song Writing Lessons .Formal Education:
Associate of Art in Music: Aug 2012 - May 2015 Mt. San Jacinto College I took this degree with an emphasis on theory and jazz guitar. I now feel confident in my ability to teach any college level music theory or appreciation course, along with anything related to guitar.
Private Education:
Private Lessons: 2012-2015 While attending Mt. San Jacinto I received five semesters of private instruction with various instructors including Richard Kettner, instructor at MSJC and Robert Bozanellos, classical guitar instructor at the University of Redlands.
Performing Experience:
Performing Artist: Dec 2009 - Present I have been Performing live in the area along with touring out of state since 2009. Around that time is when I began began studying jazz and other forms of music such as country and blues.
Experience Teaching:
Private Instructor: Dec 2010-Current I have been teaching private lessons to students ages 9-48 since my junior year in high school. Ever since my first student, all of my formal and private education has been focused on teaching and my personal ability to teach music privately.
