Andrew L.-

I grew up in Lima, Ohio where I began taking piano lessons at the age of 7. In high school I played keyboards, guitar, bass, and saxophone in several different bands and every Sunday at my church. While in highschool I also had the opportunity to perform with the Ohio District III Honors Jazz Band.
In 2009 I moved to Columbus, Ohio to study jazz piano at Capital University where I had the opportunity to play both keyboard and bass in a variety of ensembles including The Capital University Big Band, numerous small jazz ensembles, fusion band, and world music ensemble, as well as numerous groups outside of school.
After completing my education at Capital University, I continued to perform in church every week, as well as with a variety of bands, including Columbus's top salsa band- The Noe Salsa Project. In addition to performing, I also taught piano lessons five days a week at the Guitar Center Lessons studio in Columbus where I taught many different styles to a wide variety of ages and experience levels.
I recently relocated to Austin and I am looking for a chance to share my knowledge, experience, and love of music with new students here.
