Started playing guitar at age 9 and I have played on and off since then. I have Thirty-five years of playing acoustic and/or electric guitar. I have 15 years experience playing and performong in bands doing both top 40 and originals.
Michael Sk has over 15 years of music experience in the Apache Junction area.
Michael Sk is proficient in and teaches Guitar Lessons .Formal Education:
I took violin in elementary school and Stage Band,Jazz ensemble,Marching and concert Band during High School. I took Piano and Music Theory at Allan Hancock College,Santa Maria,CA.
Private Education:
I took private guitar lessons(age 9).
Self taught learning and performing hundreds of songs and styles.
Took Howard Roberts Jazz Seminar.Studied Theory at www.jazzGuitar.be.
Compleated 3 Doug Seven Courses on Country guitar.
Self taught using Guitar Player and Guitar World Magizines.
Continued learning until present using numerous online resources.
Performing Experience:
Over 15 years experience playing and performing in groups in Northern and Southern California.
Experience Teaching:
I have some experience teaching young beginner students and also some experience teaching rock guitar to young adults.
