I have been an active musician for over 40 years performing throughout the southeastern US. I have performed as a lead and rhythm guitarist, bass guitarist and also performed solo acoustic for many years.

Private Education:

I started classical lessons in Oberursel Germany at the local Volkshochschule and progressed rapidly through the initial instruction. I was then offered a position to teach and spent the remainder of my time in Germany teaching classical guitar lessons.

Performing Experience:

I have performed as lead, rhythm and bass guitar for rock and variety bands. In my time, I have played in every major city in the southeastern US as well all of the popular local venues in Charleston SC.

Experience Teaching:

I began instruction in a classical guitar method at age 16 and taught many students enrolled in the Volkshochschule. Since that time, I have provided formal and informal instruction to students of guitar and bass, 4-string and 5-string.
