About Me

Hi my name is Drew, I'm passionate about playing music. I am a people person and I would love to work with people and help them have fun while learning at the same time. I am currently in a band called Orange Joe.

Andrew W has over 10 years of music experience in the Denham Springs area.

Andrew W is proficient in and teaches Guitar Lessons .

Formal Education:

I have a degree that is not in music but in criminal justice. Although, while in college i took two semesters of classical guitar lessons.

Private Education:

I come from a musical background and have been trained in music since I was young. First started on piano, choir, and learning how to read music first from my mom who had a degree from lsu in performance piano, then piano and choir lessons from her sister who taught and still teaches at our junior high school. Then eventually switching to rock guitar and taking lessons from a local guitar teacher for a while. I also have learned much on my own though.

Performing Experience:

I have been performing live music since i was young and hope to be able to keep it up the rest of my life. I started in church, various events, playing with friends of parents or with parents or friends, to playing venues with my own bands!

Experience Teaching:

No formal experience teaching other than helping a few friends learn some things or guiding them on what to learn. Although i have three immediate family members who have taught professionally or still do.
