Nick is a multi-instrumentalist specializing in violin, guitar and mandolin. He has toured around Europe and Asia playing original rock compositions as well as Gypsy jazz and bluegrass. He comes from a family of musicians and has been teaching violin and guitar for 12 years. He is a new resident to Tucson, Arizona.
Nicholas Co has over 12 years of music experience in the Tucson area.
Nicholas Co is proficient in and teaches Guitar Lessons, Orchestral Lessons .Formal Education:
University of California Santa Barbara Bachelor of Music degree in viola performance (2000-2004). 6 years at the Music and Arts Conservatory of Santa Barbara(1993-2000)
Private Education:
Classical violin lessons with Barbara Coventry (1988-1992). Viola lessons with Scott Wagner (1992-2000)
Self-taught at guitar and mandolin.
Performing Experience:
I have performed in orchestras, with dance ensembles, rock bands, jazz bands, and in recital halls since the age of 12. Toured around US, Korea, England, Spain.
Experience Teaching:
I have taught since the age of 16 and was the orchestra instructor at Vista de las Cruces middle school in Gaviota, CA for the past 5 years. I taught band and orchestral instruments as well as guitar.
