About Me

I started playing guitar when i was 12 years of age. I am 100% self taught, but i assure you it is of good qualiy. I can teach just about anything within reason. I love to play easy listening acoustic, Christian acoustic, and rock. I started teaching my friends how to play simple things, and i was attached to teaching ever since. When I was 16 I got real heavy into vocals along with guitar and bass, and I teach that as well.

William Hi- has over 25 years of music experience in the Abilene area.

Formal Education:

Masters of Graphic Information Technology-2025. While my education is unrelated to music, it ties into music in so many ways. Music the methodology used to write music very much is a design process and should be approached with a foundational approach that builds from the ground up. With 25 years of experience playing and writing music, I have learned to hone my craft. I am ready to teach you how to do the same! :)

Performing Experience:

I have one year experience playing a 4 string Bass for Broadview Baptist Church, and roughly about 6 months of on stage solo electric 6 string and acoustic 6 and 12 string guitars, as well as vocals.

Experience Teaching:

I have 4 years of teaching experience, ranging from children to adults. I start from the basics and work begginers up to admirable playing ability.
