I am a lifelong musician who has played electric bass / guitar for over 35 years, working professionally as a Bassist/Vocalist, Guitarist, Songwriter and Recording Artist, Music Instructor, Producer and Enginneer. I'm an educated musician who reads both bass & treble clef, and I've performed with many of the finest musicians in all the Northwest, including members of Yes, Heart, Tower of Power, and jazz giant Marcus Miller. My music is on sale on iTunes and CD Baby, and I've worked on recordings for MTV, Experience Music Project, local corporations and fellow NW artists.
Edward F- has over 39 years of music experience in the Everett area.
Edward F- is proficient in and teaches Guitar Lessons, Bass Guitar Lessons .Formal Education:
Studied Music Theory & Sight Singing/Ear Training at Highline College. Studied Advanced Music Theory with M. Nordal from Cornish College of the Arts. Performed in Stage Bands & Vocal Ensembles in HS and in College.
Private Education:
Studied Electric Bass, Guitar and Classical Guitar with D. Matney for a decade. After completing my studies, I went to work with my mentor for 15 + years performing all over W. Washington.
Performing Experience:
I have extensive performing experience (2000 + gigs), currently I perform 75-100 times a year, and have for over a decade. I lead my own group as bassist/vocalist (Edward Paul Trio), and also work as a sideman for NW Jazz Guitar great Michael Powers, Paul Richardson, The Tropics, Heather Sullivan and Pete Jordan w/ Urban Flow.

I have taught bass guitar or guitar part time for 25 years. Currently, I am teaching part time out of my home studio.
