I first picked the guitar up about 9 years ago and fell in love with it ever since. One of the first things I started doing on the guitar was songwriting and instant improv. I didn't understand theory or anything, but I could hear scales and chords and then figure them out. I was always all about natural skills of playing music, but I found out that it is never good to be ALL about one thing so I began to study music theory and other instruments. I picked up the drums, saxophone, keys, vocals, and bass and I have a studio at my house where I can record and create songs in a structured manner. I will also record my students every now and then so that they can hear how they have progressed through time.
I love music, teaching, and learning, and all these things happen when you do one or the other.
