Beginner - Intermediate
For new and returning students of music and guitar, my first lessons Consist of familiarizing ourselves with the instrument as well as introducing the concept of music and its components. You will learn proper "stance" and posture. Before we can walk we must learn to stand. Proper form will allow us to learn and perform any composition efficiently.
Formal Education:
Studied music throughout the education system from 7th grade through college.
Private Education:
Three generations of musicians based in California, passing down technical as well as foundational skills. Mentored under Gerry Ganaden, Guitar tech and bass player for George lynch and Dokken.
Performing Experience:
Classical performances within the Western band association, and Garden grove unified school district. 7 years on stage experience in various bands, in multiple instrumental positions in key venues such as Paladinos, The observatory, Chain reaction, Mirror image studios, House of blues, the yost thater, Soundscape studios, The Cobolt Club etc.., As well as solo performances both on stage and busking. Â
Experience Teaching:
Began teaching introductory thechniques at 11 years old to classes within the neochatecuminal church of saint barbara to classes consisting of 15-20 students. Privately contracted to teach Students ranging in ages from 7-45 years old since Junior year in highschool. Continuing the practice and enjoying every second of it!
