About Me

Hello my name is Christopher, I have been a performing recording and teaching guitarist for over 20 years. I have taught for the Scott Air Force Base youth program for over 4 years. I have studied music with SIUE college. I have recorded and performed with Solo artist Paul Stephens Nashville TN under the band name of Cross The mississippi. I have a wonderful curriculum that starts with learning and getting familiar with your instrument to advanced theory. I would love to teach youth students up to adults. I have performed in several bands in the St Louis area for over 20 years opening for headliner rock acts suchn as L A Guns, Pearl, The Bottle Rockets and many others. I have many hours of session time and have an advanced knowledge of my instument. I would love to have the opportunity to share my talents with children young adults and adults. I have a vast knowledge in song structure and song writing theory. I can travel up to 20 miles to teach you in your home but would prefer you come to me in my home teaching area (studio). I have waiting area with seating and TV for parents to wait and listen if needed. I am available for hours from 9am to 7pm though the week and 11am to 7pm on weekends. I would love for you to give me an opportunity to share my knowledge and love for music with your self family and friends.

Performing Experience:

I have performed with and toured with Paul Stephens recording artist from Nashville TN. Under the Band Cross The Mississippi. I have performed and recorded with David Surcamp world renown recording artist from Pavlovs Dog. I have opened for headlining acts in St Loius for many years with my Band Counterfiet Diary.

Experience Teaching:

I taught lessons with the Scott Air Force Base Youth program to children 8 years of age and up into teenage years. I have taught private lessons from home for years. I have taught song structure and recording techniques with autonomous records out of St Louis MO for years.
