First guitar @ age 8, High School Band (trumpet) Church orchestra for 10 years (trumpet), owned and operated Woody's Music store in Warrenton, MO for 16 years ('97-2014) where we offered music lessons. I am retired with my wife of 41 years, we have to grown children. Our store and of course our home is very "family friendly"
Winford W has over 20+ years of music experience in the Wentzville area.
Winford W is proficient in and teaches Guitar Lessons, Bass Guitar Lessons, Keyboard and Piano Lessons, Orchestral Lessons .Formal Education:
High School Grad 1965, some part time college including music appreciation, self instruction throughout lifetime, avid reader etc.
Performing Experience:
High School band, church orchestra, played and sang a few weddings. mostly just an amateur playing with family and friends, and teaching lessons
Experience Teaching:
We offered music lessons at the store which I owned and operated for 16 years, I taught some, but also had up to 5 employees who taught the majority of our students. So while I certainly can and have taught many students, I understand and appreciate the importance of keeping the students and those who love and care for them comfortable and satisfied with the instruction and the environment in which they are learning.
