Emily is a graduate of Central Washington University, with a degree in Theatre/Music Education. She loves to be on stage and has performed in numerous regional productions in Eastern Washington. Emily has served as vocal director for 5 high school musicals (5th Avenue Theatre nominee for outstanding vocal direction 2014), and 2 regional productions and is also a busy private voice instructor. Emily has worked with Seattle Talent for almost 5 years where she teaches children the art of acting for the camera/voice and Village Theatre KidStage teaching musical theatre classes. She is a mother to three young children.

I have had the privilege of working with Emily in a variety of contexts. She strives for excellence in her own performances as well as those of her students. Her emphasis in studio is on healthy singing and vocal freedom, both of which she demonstrates beautifully. In addition to musical training and experience, Emily enhances her lessons with interpretive insight and knowledge. Her experience as a performer and her training as a theatre educator allow her to share a unique perspective with her students.
