About Me

I play over 14 instruments, Saxophone, guitar, and percussion being my best. I have played in multiple symphonies in my home town and have just recently moved to San Antonio, TX. I am very flexible with my schedule and am willing to go the extra mile to get you to where you would like to be.

Jacobi B. has over 10 years of music experience in the San Antonio area.

Jacobi B. is proficient in and teaches Guitar Lessons, Drum Lessons, Keyboard and Piano Lessons, Vocal Lessons, Orchestral Lessons .

Formal Education:

I have 2 music degrees, one in education and one in saxophone performance.

Private Education:

I have taken professional lessons myself to improve on various types of music.

Performing Experience:

I went to a small college in a city called Salina, Kansas. Since the school was so small we didnt have a big band or music program at all, so i was one of the best players in the entire department. I had a solo of some kind and even a featured song in almost every concert, and i was the lead alto saxophone for the jazz band which gave me plenty of improve solos and featured pieces which i had performed. I have played with the Salina Symphony for 2 years which is a professional orchestra made of professional players with performance degrees and players seeking performance degrees.

Experience Teaching:

I have taught music lessons on all kinds of instruments for about 4 years. I have even taught lessons on instruments I have never even played before just from basic knowledge of how certian pieces should sound and be played. All of my students that had entered their school solo and ensemble have never gotten below a 1 rating. All of my students who had entered the KMEA (Kansas music educators association) contest have made it into at least region band/jazz band.
