Review:

Bill

I highly recommend BIll as a music instructor. Students of any age will have a wonderful experience working with him. In addition to having been a performing and recording musician in a number of music activities at Jack Straw Cultural Center, he has been a lead teaching artist for the music component of our summer program for blind and visually impaired youth since 2013. I am very impressed with Bill's musicianship and ability to work with students of different ages and often very different abilities. Our summer program for blind high school students takes an extra degree of patience and ingenuity. This program brings students together for a 20 hour program to work together to create and record a new song from start to finish. Bill is the lead music instructor and provides primary instruction and support for the instrumental students. He works with a vocal instructor who supports the singers in the group. Bill's kind and generous personality makes these students with special needs feel comfortable, engaged, and excited to work. He is able to adjust to new situations easily and makes everyone feel welcome. He is an amazing musician and teacher and I am delighted to recommend him for students of any age.
