About Me

Greetings. My name is Nathan. I am so very passionate about music. I long to have a positive influence on the next generation, especially in regards to music. I want to encourage and inspire the next generation to follow their dreams and passions. I have been a musician playing in various bands for years now, genres ranging anywhere from acoustic to jazz to pop-punk to metal/hardcore. I am passionate about the technical skill of playing music, along with the history and culture of music, stage presence, and all genres of music. I have been playing guitar for about 17 years, now. I also play bass, drums, and I sing. I look forward to meeting you to discuss any further opportunities.

Performing Experience:

I have been performing live music for as long as I can remember. I have been in various bands and toured around the country and the world. I have played guitar, bass, and drums, and done vocals for these different projects. I also am a worship leader. I have led worship over the course of 14 years for various churches. In worship teams I have played guitar, bass, and drums, as well as singing and leading.

Experience Teaching:

Black Rocket Productions Lead Instructor Summer 2016 Teaching creative classes (Minecraft, 2D VG Design) to elementary and middle schoolers. Week long summer camp style class settings. Stagelight Productions: Was the Assistant Director for Stagelightʼs Spring 2016 musical: The Music Man. Aided in teaching and organizing 20-30 middle school and high schoolers. Spectrum Christian Academy Subbing: Subbed for a day of acting classes at SCA. Taught middle schoolers and high schoolers. Costa Rica Missions Trip: Along with a team, taught local Costa Ricans how to use a specific style of art to utilize in their ministry. Taught creative/Bible classes in Costa Rican middle school/high schools. Freelance Guitar Lessons: Have taught beginner students the basics of guitar technique and music theory. England Missions Trip: Was put in charge of leading and teaching a worship team to perform outreach concerts in the city of Manchester, England. New York City Missions Trip: Along with a team, taught ESL class to West African Muslims in Brooklyn, NY. Grace Community Church: Helped teach homeschoolers Bible stories, activities, arts and crafts, and games on a weekly basis. Grace Community Church Grace Adventures Daycamp Counselor Summer 2012 Was weekly in charge of 8-12 children, leading them in camp activities and events.
