I am an English Literature student finishing my last couple of semesters at U.M.K.C. During the week I referee soccer for KSHSAA and for the junior leagues around Kansas City. Currently I am living with my brother and helping raise my 4 year old nephew, Walter, at my parents house in Overland Park, KS. I've played guitar for over fifteen years and am learning more on the piano everyday. I am also proficient on the harmonica and ukulele. I play electric, acoustic, and classical guitar in a band a few times a week. I love music; it is my very favorite thing. I started out playing a lot of folk and blues but am into all kinds of music now including but not limited to classic rock, rock n' roll, punk, pop, hip hop, country, gospel, classical, and definitely jazz. One of my true pleasures is teaching my nephew new things especially about music. He is learning the guitar and piano, and I impart all those little things that I had to learn the hard way that make music way more interesting, attainable, and enjoyable.
