Michael B

Michael is a pianist of great diversity.  He has studied classical, jazz, and many Afro-Latin styles.  He utilizes his vast understanding of music in many ways.  As a solo pianist, Michael has performed at numerous festivals and competitions throughout the United States and abroad.  As an accompanist and/or producer, he has worked with Melba Moore, Demond Wilson, Bob Reynolds, Lester Snell, Donald Parker, Garland Miche Waller, Clifton Davis, Isaac Hayes, Ray ChaGospel Music Workshop of America, Nancy Wilson, and countless others.  In addition to his credits as a solo artist and accompanist, Michael arranges and composes for several genres in music.    

He has arranged for the Chicago Jazz Ensemble, the Boys’ Choir of Tallahassee, the Jacksonville Symphony Orchestra, and the Southeastern African American Choral Festival. Featured Composer for the Southeastern African American Choral Festival, Fisk University, 2004

Michael arranged and produced a Jazz Christmas album titled, “The Sounds of the Season” in 2012
