I'm a young, performing musician and I have been playing the guitar and bass since I was 14. I am currently in a touring rock band as the rhythm guitarist and lead singer along with playing as the lead guitarist at my church. I have also taught children ages 4+ in Children's ministry since I was 16. At age 18 I gave free guitar lessons to 15 children in my church 10 of which continue to play and play very well. I currently give lesson independently with 5 students from age 10 to 15. I have always taught more musical feel and heart than musical theory and I try to get budding musicians on the path to being self-sustaining in their chosen genres. I am fluent in several genres personally, including Rock, Metal, Punk, Praise and Worship, and Contemporary, with some pop, jazz and blues as well. The students I have been teaching consistently enjoy lessons and have fun while building a personal relationship and bond of trust. Parents of all my students have been very impressed with their children's progress. I also build custom electric guitars in my spare time.
