I was first introduced to the guitar at a young age. At 7 years old I took lessons at Third Street Music School in New York City. In high school I explored many different styles, performing with several rock bands and a jazz ensemble, and by my senior year I began studying classical guitar. In 2007 I attended the Boston Conservatory, and in 2010 transferred to the Cleveland Institute of Music where I studied with Jason Vieaux and graduated with a BM in audio recording and production. After graduating, I moved to Los Angeles to work on producing music for several rappers, while also teaching a guitar class at Montebello Gardens Elementary School. I moved to Minneapolis in September of 2014. I am currently playing in several bands and teaching guitar, piano, and drums at a few different schools and stores around the Twin Cities.
Jaxon V has over years of music experience in the Minneapolis area.

I currently perform several times a month with a few rock bands. I also perform solo with my own acoustic music. While in college I played many outreach gigs performing solo classical guitar and with a duo group. I have also performed in several master classes for guitarists such as Benjamin Verdery and Denis Azabajic.
I first began by teaching guitar lessons at Bucks Rock Summer Camp in New Milford, CT during the summer of 2011. The next formal teaching Job was at Montebello Gardens Elementary School, in Pico Riviera, CA. There I taught a class of 25 guitar students four times a week. I also taught several music classes and lead ensembles at Beam Summer Camp in Strafford, NH the past three summers. I have been teaching consistently the past two years in the Twin Cites giving private and group lessons in guitar, piano, and drums.

"Jaxon has been teaching with my organization for about a couple years now. He has been fun, understanding with the students, and not afraid to think outside the box to get students engaged. I love that he takes the time to get on the same page with his students and make the lessons about their goals and about finding a fun way to achieve them. I strongly recommend him!"
