About Me

I have been a prefessional guitarist for over 30 years. I performed all over the world playing with many different bands and musical styles Including James Brown JB's. I tailor my learning program to the student and their needs and desired learining level.

Greg S- has over 30 years of music experience in the Kansas City area.

Greg S- is proficient in and teaches Guitar Lessons .



Formal Education:

B.A. Classical Guitar Performance from the University of Missouri Kansas City.          

Private Education:

Certificate of Completion Level I Delphi School Los Angeles Private Instruction and Master Classes W: Christopher Parkening Pat Metheny Julian Bream

Performing Experience:

I have performed in every state in the United States by touring with various variety acts. I was a member of James Brown's Band the JB's in 1988 and toured Europe. I have performed with one of the most popular and successful bands in the Kansas City area for the last 20 years, performing for every major event and venue in the city.

Experience Teaching:

I have had many students through out the years many have gone on to become sucessful players in their own right.
