About Me
Hello, my name is Patrick. I am 28 years old and I've been playing drums for over 10 years now. Currently I play drums for a band called Phantoms and have previously toured all over the U.S. I currently have a Gretsch Renown Maple kit with Zildjian A Custom cymbals.
Patrick G has over 8 years of music experience in the Jacksonville area.

What to expect in my Drum Lessons
Beginner - Intermediate
To attain basic knowledge and understanding of drums, percussion, and rhythm while learning skills to enhance play while during and after the lesson.
Formal Education:
I studied Simulation and Digital Entertainment at the University of Baltimore while also taking various non credit courses for IT certification.
Private Education:
I have previously taught at the School of Rock in Columbia Maryland. I've taught all ages from 8 yrs to 30+ yrs, I say its never to late to learn how to play an intrsument and the drums are the most fun! Drums are an instrument based on feel, and the best way to learn is to get your hands on them as much as possible. I also give lessons while traveling and touring with my band.
Performing Experience:
I purchased my first drumkit in 2008 and thats where it all began. Within a year I had joined my first band and began playing shows. Currently I have several full U.S. tours under my belt and are planning on traveling to Europe in the near future. I've shared the stage with Pierce The Veil, Motionless In White, A Day To Remember, I See Stars, Miss May I, and many many more.
Experience Teaching:
I've taught for over a year now and can give lessons online and in person. Just because you don't have a drumkit doesn't mean you can't practice or increase your skills. I develop lesson plans based on the students current skill and knowledge of music and percussion. I teach concepts and understanding basic music theory and timing, notation, rudiments, and practical application to drumming.Â
