I have been involved with music for 10+ years, specializing in guitar for about 7, with too many influences to name. I like to play as many different genres as I can; jazz, rock, metal, classical, country, R&B, funk, and my new favorite, fusion. My philosophy is that anyone can learn guitar if they are dedicated enough. Not only will they learn, but they will also have a great time doing it.
Landyn Ly- has over 7 years of music experience in the La Porte area.
Landyn Ly- is proficient in and teaches Guitar Lessons, Bass Guitar Lessons, Song Writing Lessons .Formal Education:
1 yr.(2 semesters) of lessons from jazz guru Danny McKnight and GIT graduate John Keifer.
Private Education:
Always (learning) teaching myself new stuff from some of the greats.
Performing Experience:
I have been performing 5+ years. I have been in multiple groups: alternative rock, metal, country(lead for Stevin Marsh), and jazz ensemble(Lee College). Also played backup for R&B solo artists. I have been a session player for about 1 year(had the privilege to play some tracks for JStarz of Interscope Records).
Experience Teaching:
1 year at Music and Arts Center in Huntsville. Instructed multiple students of varying learning styles, interests, and technique(along with corresponding genres).
