My name is Alex. I am 18 years old. I have lived in Texas for roughly 3 years but before I moved here I lived in Florida for 10 years. I am a pianist, guitarist, and composer. Music has been my passion since I was 8, and I have always enjoyed sharing my knowledge of music with other people. I actively play as the lead guitarist of 2 bands (and duel as the keyboardist) and I actively pursue piano on my own. I enjoy classical music and studied the periods of music in school. I am a formally taught pianist and a self taught guitarist. I taught myself guitar through knowing exactly how to practice and how to excell at my instrument.

Patel Conservatory Institute in Tampa. Beginner lessons Howard W Blake High School - Performing arts school; Accepted into the piano major program and dueled in AP Music Theory.
Private Education:
Irena - 3 years under private instructor. I began performing under her at age 11. Taught how to read sheet music and how to perform on stage.
Performing Experience:
Performed under Irena for 3 years, performed in Blake for a year. I have been on stage plenty of times in front of multiple crowds. I have played guitar at gigs too. I know how to setup and break down equipment for live performances.
Experience Teaching:
I do not have formal teaching through a school or institute. I teach on my own time and in a private manner. I have taught piano and guitar to a few people from levels of beginner to advanced. I am able to work with experienced players or players that are just starting. I teach both music theory and the instrument itself, giving the student a detailed experience.
